
Director: Bethany Sturges-Crisp was born and raised in Irving, Texas where she was the
Captain of the Irving High School Toy Tigers for 2 1/2 years. She
went on to become the Freshman Representative and then Head Dance
Captain of the Tyler Junior College Apache Belles. As an Apache
Belle, Bethany’s performance credits include the St. Patrick's Day
Parade and Lord Mayor's Ball in Dublin, Ireland, Dallas Cowboys halftime
shows, Bank of America Parade, Country Eight Reporter, and Rose
Festival. Bethany also served as show Captain for the Belles
90-day Best of Texas show at Six Flags Over Texas. Bethany
continued her education at the University of North Texas where she was a
member of the pom squad, the UNT Dancers. She received her degree
and teaching certification in physical education and dance.
Bethany also danced professionally with the Dallas Desperados Dancers,
the AFL team owned by the Dallas Cowboys, for three proud seasons.
Bethany started the dance program in Forney ISD and served as the
dance teacher, musical theater choreographer, and drill team director at
Forney High School for three years. Bethany was named Who’s Who
Among American Teachers and is an active member of Drill Team Directors
of America. Bethany has also been teaching drill and dance camps
for Dancin' USA for the past six years and creates choreography for many
teams across the state.
Bethany currently teaches dance at Flower Mound High School and is
the director of the award winning Flower Mound High School Rosettes.
Bethany was recently married to Adam Crisp!!!!!
